Learn how much you're becoming all that you are capable of being.
Abraham Maslow, the father of humanistic psychology, conceptualized the "Hierarchy of Human Needs." Imagine a pyramid. At its base reside our basic needs, such as biological drives (food, sleep, etc.) The second level of the pyramid has to do with our need for shelter, safety, and security. The third level includes the need to love and be loved, as well as the need for belonging. Further along, the fourth need is that of self-esteem and being esteemed by others. The top of the pyramid has to do with self-actualization. Self-actualization describes "the desire to become more than what one is and the ability to become everything that one is capable of becoming."
Completing this assessment will help you determine how far along you're in your hierarchy of needs. The results will show whether you're likely to be more or less self-actualized as well as, where on the hierarchy of needs you may be currently focused.
